GRC & Construction Pte Ltd was established in 1989. The previous namesake of the company was Uptrend Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd. The main activity of the company then was general building works. However, as pre-casting works was slowly gaining acceptance in Singapore, a pre-cast department was created in the mid 1980s to service the needs of pre-cast architectural construction works. Over the years, the main activity of the company gradually shifted to pre-casting; especially architectural pre-casting using Glass Fibre Reinforced Cement (GRC). Because of its unique blend of properties, GRC is now used throughout the world for many applications including those below. |
